Chimera Design & Illustration.

In case you don’t already know, a Chimera is a beast from Greek mythology. A legendary creature made up of parts from other creatures. But there is another, lesser-known definition: a chimera is an illusion; a fabrication of the mind. In my own way, I attempt to harness both sides: my logo embracing the former while my work pursues the latter.

My life is also a chimera all its own: an amalgamation of different influences brought together to form its own fantastical beast. 

Traditionally trained and digitally self-taught, I enjoy Adobe’s library of programs, Illustrator being my favorite. Admittedly, teaching myself Illustrator was frustrating – especially learning before YouTube tutorials were a thing. But I grew to love its versatility and its tool-set, they appealed to my own imagination and meticulous nature.
